A brick or stone veneer can be used on the outside of the Polarwall formwork if required. Such a veneer can be fastened to the form work using several different options.  The fastening option chosen should be decided by which type of brick or stone cladding is being applied and to what height it is being built.  

In the past we have seen the brick or stone veneer bonded directly to the form work and also fastened with a cavity.  When bonded directly it should be to a cementitious base coat adhesive as is used in render finishing.
