Polarwall has notched up an important milestone with the completion of another development of newly-built homes for the social housing sector. The 14 units built in Hartlepool were officially handed over to Housing Hartlepool, in April 2008.
The completion of the £1.3m million project was marked by a visit from the town’s MP Iain Wright who officially opened the site. He said: “I am delighted to open this new development of much needed affordable homes in Hartlepool. There is significant demand for these types of properties in the town and I am pleased that Housing Hartlepool are starting on their ambitious homebuilding programme.”
The units have all been built to a very high environmental standard and have achieved Code Level 3 under the Code for Sustainable Homes guide.
Polarwall believes it will continue its success in the North East with further developments.
